Eyeline Terms of Use

Effective 2 October 2026

These terms cover your use of Eyeline, a virtual reality game for Meta Quest headsets made by Sharkear (“we”). By playing Eyeline you agree to them.

Getting the game

Eyeline is sold, and its free trial offered, through the Meta Horizon Store. Buying, trials, refunds and your licence to play are governed by Meta's terms for the store, which apply alongside these.

A game, not a medical device

Eyeline is a game for entertainment. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Nothing in the game, its scores or its settings is medical advice. If you have any concern about your eyes or your health, speak to a doctor.

Health & safety

The game uses flashing lights, bright colours and fast motion. If you have had a seizure, a blackout or epilepsy, or anyone in your family has, talk to a doctor before playing. Take regular breaks. Stop at once and rest if you feel dizzy or sick, get a headache or eye strain, see double, or your eyes or muscles twitch. Keep children's sessions short and supervise them.

Play in a clear space, inside your headset's boundary, away from people, pets, furniture and walls. Follow the health and safety guidance that came with your headset.

Using the game fairly

Please don't copy, resell or redistribute the game, or try to get around its ownership check. The game, its music, art and code belong to Sharkear and its licensors.

The game as it is

We work to make Eyeline reliable and enjoyable, and we fix problems when we learn of them. The game is provided as it is, and to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Your information

How the game handles information is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

If these terms change, we will update this page and its effective date.
